Archiving Dance is a project that explores the possibilities and methodologies of contemporary dance archives. Archives in general involve the collection, categorisation, conservation and exhibition of documents, the most common example being national archives and museum depots. In this project, the dance-makers ‘archived’ their own work to experiment with ways of communicating its essence.
Produced by The Saison Foundation with the Singapore International Festival of Arts.
